First of all Hi everyone, this gonna be my first post in this forum!

Well as the title says, how would you compare these two?

personally I like the Leon more, but I have received very tempting offer for Cee'd and now I feel its hard to make a decision

We might be a bit bias here lol

I think I'm already myself, thats why I have asked the question here

If its just about getting what's cheapest, get the Kia.

Well that's the thing! Kia is not gonna be that much cheaper!

In Kia, the new GT Line series and 7 years of warranty looks tempting.

I want to know for example how reliable is Leon (mk3) comparing to Cee'd?

I would hope you wouldn't be seeing too many reliability issues in any car under 3 years old ... when was the mk3 Leon released?

you are right its not that old, so far the only annoying issue that I found in this forum is this one:

seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=392034 (Rattles/squeaking noise in the door area)

//
To be honest Leon is my first choice in my heart! but I just want to make sure I'm making right decision as I won't have second chance any time soon.

Nice car the Kia, but don't they generally have poorer economy and emissions?

The Ceed 1.6 CRDi 126 is pretty decent - 97 g/km and 76.3 mpg claimed (128bhp and 192 lb /ft). The engine is harsh and noisy however. I would put it in-between a common rail TDI and PD TDI engine in terms of refinement.

I think in the end this will come down to styling and comfort. Sit in both, drive both and make your decision based on that. But if you are after a petrol, I've got to say the Leon is the way forward because while the diesel engine range in the Ceed can compete the petrols can't.

I didnt even look at the petrol variants from japanese maufacturers as they got nowhere near the power and economy from the VAG group range.

i think the kia looks great personally!

wouldnt own one tho.... :( no fast one!

I'm looking into getting a leon cupra and the wife likes the c'eed gt; so I'm in both camps. She's currently got an audi a6 barge with 130bhp so the 201bhp in the c'eed gt would be enough for her. Lovely looking car though (as is the leon!)

Finlay I made a decision! Seat Leon :D

Now, one important question.

Whats the different of FR and Style (SE)?
I have to mention I'm not looking for sporty driving that much.

Coool!

FR is a sports trim as well as adding bigger wheels and stiffer suspension etc. Think sline on the Audi range or the GT trim on the Golf etc etc

If you aren't into sporty driving then go for the SE. The ride will be much smoother for you.

Spec wise the entire range is pretty well specced as standard however I would recommend adding the following crucial (IMO) options:

- Tech Pack (adds LED lights, DAB and Navigation)
- Convenience Pack (adds auto headlights & auto wipers)
- Parking sensors (if required)

You can obviously go crazy on options here but the above just add to the overall driving experience.

I'm talking from experience however I only picked mine up last Friday. Loving it so far though :D

I went for tech pack, the parking sensors are standard on the FR in the UK. Comfort pack - I can turn lights and wipers on myself, no reason to start after 30 years, but go for sound pack with a spare wheel, a tube of foam never works and the sound pack is rather good

Thanks for the advice, I think SE (Style) does suit me better than FR

Which one did you pick?

Thanks for the advice, do you really think extra money for sound pack worths? I kinda liked the one (I guess the normal one) I used while test driving.

Does Navi System High come already with Full Link or I should order it separately?
