Bulb upgrades

hi,

I am wanting to upgrade my sidelights, dipped beam, main beam and rear reg plate lights on my 2011 ibiza FR

I was wondering if someone would be willing to post me some links to some which they have used and which don't bring up the warning light on the dash. I have had a look on the light bulb thread but this has made me very confused on what i need!!

Here's mine before and after

Dipped- H7 ultra power bulbs. Amazon

High- H7 ultra power bulbs. Amazon

Fog- HB4 9000 Ultra Power bulbs. Amazon

Outer sides - 501 LED - Twenty20. Auto bulbs Direct

Inner sides - 501 ultra power bulbs. eBay or Amazon

Reg plate- 2x 38mm Festoon canbus LED - Twenty20. Auto bulbs direct.

NOTE: one set of side lights are LED and one set are the whitest halogen ones I could find. This was to stop the bulb warning light coming on as when I put 4 LED sidelights in it popped up. At the time I didn't have access to VAG to clear the warning.
I was looking for whiter lights and I'm happy with how I've got them now. If that's what you're looking for too I hope I helped

Am i correct in saying that the dipped and main beam are exactly the same bulb then?

No problem! And yes they are, mine are anyway (pre facelift) and reading yours is a 2011 I presume it's a pre facelift too?

Which bulbs should be used for 2015 (Facelift) Ibiza ST? I think the low beams are really weak yet high beams just destroy everything in it's 2 to 3km long path...

Try putting your reg into autobulbsdirect see if that tells you what type they are

i feel the headlights arent bright enough on my 2013 Ibiza toca. Which bulbs can i get? the same?

joenewton_1709 don't suppose you could get a pic of just the sidelights on to see how bright they are?
Thinking of getting them after going through a few canbus LED's which still throw up a bulb warning but don't know how they would compare to LED's.

Whether that be all canbus all not, half and half. Nothing would work and I didn't have the software like vagcom to clear it so that was my only best option really.

Thanks, they look good, are they basically just standard halogens with a blue tint to them, if I'm getting them I'll probably end up doing the same as you and keep LED's for ther outer sidelights.
So I take it that you get no bulb warning error anymore? (From what you said I take it you don't but just incase I misinterpreted what you said)

Yeh that's right they're just halogen, the ones I got are actually blue but shine white!
And yeh mate that's right, no warning light for me with that set up

Hi Joe,

When you as 'ultra' is that the make of the bulbs? and also are the main beam and full beam 2 separate bulbs? and the fogs are they HB4 9006? just want to make sure before I order some

Yeh that's correct mate, "ultra power bulbs" I believe is the make, if you look at the link in my last post they're the side lights I have which are made by them.
