Well don't really know how to start this off - after having my previous Subaru fully forged and didn't do a thread on the way I thought I'll try and do my updates on a page - hardly do any work myself I normally go and spent a fortune at a garage

So start of November I decided I wanted to try and go more sensible in my car choice - I was very keen to get a K1 there was a nice black one for sale but time I could view it it had already sold - so I went to view another one from a garage in Birmingham - it was very nice but the engine didn't sound very healthy - anyways so I've now ended up with a 2007 cupra in white mind I say I hate white !! But as always I rush things and couldn't sit round waiting for the right one - I did tell my mates and girlfriend I wasn't going to touch this one as I'm terrible and loose thousands on mods lol - how ever I've already planned on adding some black touches so hopefully I'll grow to like it

I havnt got any receipts for work also done but he advertised it at 360 brake - he has a graph which is a stage 2+ and says 306 at the wheels 342 at the fly so I'm not sure where he got the extra 18 from haha
He's told me it's had a uprated exhaust which it has as it is the cupra R style - 3" with decat and it's still very quiet ! Well comparing to my focus ST and Subaru haha
Also told me it's got a uprated turbo but I'm
Not 100% I think I want to eventually take it to revo ? Unless you guys know anywere better ( I'm Northampton )









So here how she is as I brought her

Plans for now after visuals while I find out what best to do for performance

Tyres and my personal plate being prority !
Debadge
Dewiper
Gloss black grills and roof
Double din headunit - satnav and DAB are a must
Wrapping as much silver and chrome as possible to black lol
Front splitter
Would say exhaust but seeing as it's nice already just quiet I'll leave it
Tint all lights with film or flyeye
LED interior lights
Halo rings round fog lights
Maybe footwell lights - boot light - bonnet light if my engine bay ever gets to looks nice ( looks horrible at min will get a picture
Gas bonnet structs
Eibach Lowering springs ( even though looks low already )

Think that will sum it up for now but for engine upgrades - all you petrol heads get at me with the best route to take would be happy with 350/400 at the wheels

So as I said first thing first had 4 new good yearf1s fitted



While these were fitted I had found out it has rear sparco spacers and also some blue springs ? I'm guessing these are H and Rs ?




Then got to work on some wrapping and stereo fitting and led interior lights





Feeding my mic up the pillar





After wrapping and fitting stero the new fascia doesn't click in to place ?



Also taking the whole reading light out not knowing the clear casing comes out I ended up breaking a clip or Spring on one of the switches so the light stayed constantly on so I've ended up taking one of the bulbs out - very annoying but the lights are very bright it's not a big issue

Looks a nice motor mate and by far the best colour although I'm biased lol

Regards mapping mines got R-tech software and it's spot on Niki is really clued up on the tfsi engines they are based in Hinckley

Cheers mate well like I said I wanted black but after I do a few more changes to this I think I'll like it hopefully

R Tech is where I'll go then I reckon just want to find out what's actually been uprated and not on my car - would R tech do that or they just remapping



So my glass bung had arrived from Germany what I've done on my 2 previous cars




Don't know what people normally do but the screw has worked before

He will be able to do a visual check for the hardware mods and also a software check to see what the map is doing all done in house and if needed he can log the car with vcds to see what it's doing in terms of timing/fuel/air what they are requesting and what it's actually producing.

That alone will tell him how the car is and if anything isn't right will give him an idea of what's wrong

Little update

Splitter fitted



Alot of money spent on new cleaning stuff for the white girl



Quick clean before it goes in for spray

car started misfiring so got the coils and plugs replaced



wasnt happy with the graph that come with the car ( line all over the place )





so on the rollers she went



much happier with the smoother line even if it is less brake



grills off and new side lights in ready for a little spraying






















has my car had a bang or is this normal ish cause the plastic ? never did notice this till now and when i cleaned it




















now waiting for my grills to dry properly now so i can fit my chavastic halo rings in the fogs
