Don't go paying stupid amounts of money for gearbox oil, that link Dosnt work.

If u race up the gears go for the better oil, totally up to you, I wouldn't waist my money

Each to there own mate, I'm not gonna say as other people will say different so as long as you get the 75/90 you will be fine, what make and price is up to you.

UPDATE
***Do not use the above oil for the LC as just found after changing mine 2nd and 3rd are no longer as smooth when changing up ''notchy'', got some advise from oil sellers and was advised that although this oil is ok for my gearbox it is just ok as they have had reports some people use that in in those gearbox, but it can make the gear changes too stiff and put unnecessary strain on the box. :( ***

Will be changing it out with genuine VW stuff this weekend :(

Hey
So im gonna do the oil change this weekend, is it about 2.5litres of oil? cuz i only have 2 jack stands/trolly jack, i wouldnt be able to to fill it when its level?

Could i jus guestimate it at 2.5l? As when the front end is jacked up, it would be reclined at an angle.

If ur on about changing the gear oil then keep putting the oil in till it drips out the fill hole then you will be fine,
