No not really, all bolts on the bumper were easily accessible with a T25 and T30 bit, once the bumper was of it was just a case of lining everything up and drilling some holes for the mounting hardware

Awesome was afraid it was a hard install but will definitely look into this now ✌️

Just got the car back after its detail today, I have to say that I am more than impressed with the results, it's just a pitty that the pictures don't really do it any justice.

The last few days has seen the car lowered and finally got my bike racks back on the car.

I went with H&R 30mm springs which I got a for a right bargain, I am now contemplating changing the rear spacers from 12mm to 15mm

I had a bit of spare time this afternoon so I set about spraying the dash from the factory silver to gloss black, if only I wasn't so impatient I would have done a better job but least now I know how to strip the dash apart, next time I strip it apart i'll be taking it to a paint shop to have it all done properly.

As bad as it is it still looks better than the standard silver and goes much better with the satnav.

Are you planning on doing the speedo surround as well?
I've been thinking of paint mine recently but haven't got around to it yet, any tips to getting the fascia panels off?

Yeah, I'll be doing the speedo surround at some point

The best tip is to just take your time, there are 2 hidden screws that need to come out in the air con unit, these are located under the unit and the radio needs to be removed first to gain access to them

Thanks, I'd have been clueless!
Car is looking amazing by the way :)

Hopefully I'll be doing all this soon, my facelift heater panel comes this week, And I've got my fingers crossed for an RNS510 for my birthday this weekend :)

Well It's been a while since I've done anything to the car but in the last week or so it's had it's timing belt and water pump changed, it's also had the cam chain and tensioner done as well as the oil pick up pipe and cam follower and to top it all of I managed to get hold of a turbo back BCS Powervalve exhaust and and a Cupra R rear valence from a mate who was selling his Cupra.

This is the only picture that I have at the moment, will hopefully get more tomorrow :)

Tried to get some better pictures today but the rain had other ideas.

And also one for the reason behind the roof racks

Took another couple of pictures of the car today, now minus the roof racks, the only new edition to the car is a boot lip protector and a set of rear mud flaps

Yeah, it is a great combination it really transforms the look of the rear end... To be fair though, I had no plans of changing from the triple R setup until a mate offered me the BCS and valance for a price that I just couldn't refuse.
