Nevada white or emocion red

Placing a fr order tomorrow.

Unsure if I should go for Nevada white, which I think looks sportier, or the emocion red which the missus prefers

Seen them both next to each other today and I thought the white was nicer but thought on a gloomy day both might look poor

Ordering tomorrow so opinions would be nice

Nevada White is metallic and is 'ice white'. Emocion red is a base colour but also looks well. Personal preference but mine is Nevada

I know its each to their own but that grey really doesn't suit the Leon as well as the brighter colours in my eyes

Both are good and suit the MK3 perfectly

BUT

I have read about Emocion red quality issues.

As from my personal experience, my previous car was a Emocion Red MK5 Ibiza and it had plenty of stone chips everywhere. As it is still in my family and I drive it quite often, the stone chips keep coming and coming.

At the same time my MK3 Leon FR is free of stone chips, swirls etc ( mileage, though, is half of what is on the Ibiza )

Both cars have been taken care of, protected with AutoGlym HD Wax.

Had a white one, i'd go for red now. Did see a grey one the other day and thought it looked classy!

I have a white one, I prefer that over the red unless you're getting a sunroof in which case the black top looks good with the red. Apollo blue would be my ideal colour, but monsoon grey with the 18" wheels like the pic above is really nice

I have white and like it, I didnt get a choice as it was a stock car.

Get red if you want another option or pick white if you want a colour which should hold its value ever so slightly better.

For me it's a no brainer: Emocion red! Nevada white is nice but for me it's to boring.

I have to admit the quality could be better. Especially the Ibiza MK5 I owned had plenty stone chips and the clear coat let loose on a few spots. On my Leon MK3 FR the quality seems to be a little bit better.

White = hire car, taxi or courtesy car !!

Plus itll need washing every five minute... the red is a lovely colour ;-)
Although, give the choice again I would get a sky blue one, thats very rare and striking.

Nevada shows the lines better and is a nice contrast to the window tints.

Imo red suits the leon much better. But as someone already said it does chip easily.

So, what did you choose?

In my opinion both look really good.

I went for red, but I'd have taken a white if one had been available immediately. I really couldn't have waited months.
