Hi Guys.

I have a 2004 Leon TDI with a knocking noise coming from the drivers side wheel.

It sounds like metal on metal, and happens when the car goes down a dip/hole, not when the car hits a raised bump etc.

So far I have replaced the following parts with no sucsess:
Track rod end
Lower arms (including ball joint)
Track rod end
Springs changed to coilovers
Top mounts

I've just bought some ARB bushes to see if this might be the problem, but I'm questioning it before I change them because it seems like a ball ache job to do.

I've had the noise ever since I've bought the car and it's gradually got worse, it doesn't affect performance but it does mean I have to slow down when approaching a road surface thats no less than perfect.

Any other ideas on what it may be?

Thanks in advance

*fixed* All it was after all that was the ARB bracket, the bolt was loose... lesson learned!
