Build week for new Cupra 290's

Still pissed off.com. dealer phoned me before saying there had been a problem with my car and a delay of 11 weeks!!! I ordered my car on the 1st July so would be looking at a November delivery!!!!
He still doesn't know the full reason but maybe something to do with the seats??? Sounds fishy to me.
Has anyone heard of any problems?? My car is a 5 door Cupra Black in Dynamic Grey.

I ordered a 5dr black edition DSG in dynamic grey on 7.7.16 was given week 39 build, now it is week 37, seat CS confirmed 12.9.16 build and I should have early to mid October

Mine was ordered 2nd week July and from day one they haven't been able to give me an exact delivery day for some reason??? it's gone from 1st week September to more likely middle to late October. Cupra Black Manual.

I was just about to order my 290 today but after reading here I'm not sure. Some of the quotes on here are a lot cheaper but not sure if any of yours are personal or business? Also inc or ecl VAT??
I was going for ..290 black DSG emocion red 10k per year .. personal lease 2 x 23 £312 per month Inc vat .
Works out over 1k more than a few on here over the 24 months so any advice would be great thanks .

The manual can be had a lot cheaper on lease than the DSG I found.

Dsg was £30 a month more. Try carly at lookers Stockport. They seemed to have the best deals going I found

I really wanted the DSG but it was over £800 more over the 2 year lease. Compared to the value of the car it seemed like a lot to pay

My order was placed 19/07 and indicated build week 39. Still yet to be 'Status 20' - is that normal?

Mines is the same as yours buddy, I jumped on a cancelled order, ordered through the dealer and they got me one on build week 38 (should be this coming Monday apparently) so I'm hoping and praying for an end of September delivery as 3 weeks is apparently the usual delivery time to Fife seat from the factory

Hopefully! I'm expecting mine to be more end of October so I'll probably wait for November to save the tax!

Had a call about an hour ago, mines been pulled forward a week, so will be next week build, they said it's normally 3 weeks so possible for late September.

I was unable to find a way, however the Dealer can. Just nagged him every couple of days.

Lucky dude! Wish that had happened to me, double whammy of luck! I'm phoning mines tomorrow as this week is my scheduled build week so I'm hoping they have more info on exact delivery time as that's what they said on POS

One way which a friend of mine discovered was getting the name of the boat it's coming in on, then using a free website to just track that boat? Only let's you know when it's docked though, guessing it's the time at either side that kills! Plus the waiting time once is arrived at dealership

Had my build week confirmed as week 38. Same as when I ordered the car 1st week of July.
