As this is a BW thread I said I'd kit you know I've been allocated BW48. I ordered 2 weeks ago. I got such a good deal with 0% pcp, service pack and a great trade in price that I've decided not to wait for the FL Cupra. Some people will think I'm mad but I'm happy to hopefully collect my car 1st week in January.

I went out in it today and had the window open, mines done about 350 now, DSG In manual and cupra mode lift of from about 4K and there is noise, I'd say more crackle than popping though, more muted with window up.

Noise for launch control is awesome though, I tried it on my drive not actually launched it properly as a test one just lit the tyres up.

Find myself changing gear to avoid controversial fart noise though as best I can

Had my manual and I would say after a 1000 miles .
I actually thought I had the 280 exaust on mine and mentioned to the dealer

Yes ii hadn't really noticed up till now but I've got around 1400 miles on clock and I can say it's
Sound better but don't use cupra mode as for town driveing it get annoying

The thing with the dsg and it's fart noise is that you have the choice. Set it in one of the non farting modes and you're fine. 2 years in a practically mute manual I relish having that choice.
