Had my 1.4 FR for nearly a year and still look forward to getting in it.:)

Worth checking the tyre pressures if the ride feels a bit "skittery" on poor road surfaces. The recommended pressures are designed for fuel economy, lowering them a bit was beneficial on mine from the recommended 2.5/2.3 (front/rear) to 2.3/2.1.

And correct me if I'm wrong but the 1.8 is restricted due to the dsg box is have? So can't be tuned without clutch problems?

As long as the tuner stays within the torque limits for the 7 speed DSG box then it can be tuned fine.
