Nav System High - Can it be retrofitted?

Has anyone considered one of the many 3rd party Android units, I've seen a Kenwood one on display in a Seat dealership. I like the sound of one of these but unsure of how the unit handles the in-car options.

Think they were for the previous generation and dont really offer any features.

Ah I see. I never really checked it out in detail. I've also clocked a few on eBay but I assume they'll be cheapo Chinese cack

Yeh I've never seen a decent upgrade. If I find one I will do it as I'm desperate to get Waze.

Yeah me too. I'm sure some smart bugger could code one of these Android units to work perfectly! Standard Nav is unbearable and I refuse to pay for a stupid update.
