Hi everyone, I'm planning on test driving a 59 plate 1.4 TSi Ibiza Cupra either this weekend or the next, after having a quick scroll and search through some threads, I decided the best way to find out what I need would be start a new one and ask directly.

Are there any specific things I should look out for for when test driving?

Ive read about gearbox juddering, oil consumption issues, misfiring, and other nightmare problems. Fingers crossed this car is totally fine, but I'd rather know it has issues beforehand that I could have picked up on than find myself crying at the side of the road in a months time.

Any and all info would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

Ah, I see that you like a challenge, fair enough, some of us just like an easy or slightly predictable life.

I'd think if it is good, it will be an amazing car to run, but ---------

Edit:- how about its history, what has been sorted revised etc on it during its early life, if okay buy a proper used car warranty to protect your wallet.
