Virtual Cockpit/ illuminated door sills

SEAT UK's online configurator from today, now includes the Digital Cockpit option for £400 on all SEAT Leon FR and Xcellence models (but not on the X-perience models), but strangely enough, the new December 2017 pdf price list omits the Digital Cockpit from the option prices section, but does show the option in the equipment options section!

I'd given up on virtual cockpit with my FR because the November brochure didn't list it as an option...

I was told by my dealership three weeks ago that I couldn't make changes to the order, but SEAT UK told me today I could have made changes while the build week was unconfirmed. Now it's been given a confirmed week (in the last couple of days) I can't make changes!!!

Very frustrated by the complete lack of consistency between SEAT UK and the dealers now... I definitely would have paid the extra £400 for virtual cockpit! Don't think there's anything I can do about it though - customer services have been less than useful throughout the entire process

I feel your pain mate. I've been debating with my dealership and seat finance since June on the digital cockpit.

I was also unable to stick to the options I wanted either. In end I cancelled my order and resubmitted it.

It was the right choice for me as I was able to extend my lease but it put my build back by 5 months.

I mean it's not a deal breaker - the options I really wanted I added onto the car when I ordered it in July. It's just such a pain to know that technically last week I could have potentially added on the digital cockpit had my dealership just known that it was possible to change the order as long as the build week was unconfirmed...

It just reflects the whole experience of ordering this time around which is that no one seems to know anything, and if they do know something it's different depending on who you speak to!

There's no way I'm cancelling and resubmitting though, not having already waited 4 months. I cannot continue to drive this crappy little Yaris around for that much longer

I'm happy with the old style. The digital dash seems a bit gamey.

I agree about the service, I had to show seat finance and x2 dealerships the Autogefuhl video of the R and the digital dash before they would take me seriously.

Tbh although I really want it and am still looking forward to it - im sure the novelty will wear off. The main thing I wanted it for was the maps and it doesn't support android for Google maps

4 months is a long enough wait and the car will be a massive step up from the Yaris regardless of the dash.

As it was their mistake maybe you can ask your dealership for a gesture of goodwill, using the email from Seat as proof.

This car is from 2003 and it has a digital cockpit!

Oh dear so you'll actually be losing the feature. Well that's a different story entirely

Annoyingly I could not get android auto to use waze as the default map. Did you have to go into the system settings and change it there. In app stuff was having none of it
