Just picked up a new Cupra, I’ve got the convince pack with traffic jam assist etc,

2 questions..

I’ve got the mirrors to fold sync on lock, but they don’t unless I press and hold the link ck button?

Also the traffic signs are not appearing on the dashboard?

Any ideas?

Having to push and hold the lock button to fold the mirrors in is normal. It's the same on all models.

Convenience Pack doesn't include Traffic Jam Assist or Traffic Sign Recognition. That I can recall without a brochure/price list to hand neither are available on Leon.

Not sure what the pack is called, but I have it, the traffic jam assist works, just don’t get the symbols in the middle f the dash for signs.

The mirror thing is a minor annoyance along with no light for key at night

Went for the reverse camera but it’s always out (had a c class last time and it only popped out in reverse) it gets dirty and the picture is crap, wouldn’t recommend it to anybody else.

I find that traffic signs appear in front of my eyes. I've had this function for years.

:rofl:I don’t care about it, I only wanted the traffic assist, but it’s got it and it doesn’t work..

Finally found it!

Driving Assistance Pack is High Beam Assist, Lane Assist and Traffic Sign Recognition.

Advanced Comfort and Driving Pack is Driving Assistance Pack, Automatic City Brake (Front Assist) with Pedestrian Protection, Traffic Jam Assist and Emergency Assist.

Both packs include Convenience Pack Plus.

I'm sure that when I ordered my FR, traffic sign recognition was an additional item. Something like Convenience Pack 1 and Convenience Pack 2. I don't know if it was standard on the Cupra.

It works well and even picks up the temporary limits on motorways on the overhead signs.

Have you got it enabled in the Settings menu? The signs either appear at the top or it's one of the values that you scroll through on the display along with range, average speed, distance etc

It’s part of the pack I ordered,

With dynamic road sign display
ACC pack (Automatic City brake (Front Assist) with Pedestrian Protection & Stop&Go)
Lane keeping system, traffic jam assist, and emergency assist
High-beam control

Suppose I should RTFM - can’t find any setting for it.

You will need VCDS or ODBeleven or similar to make the mirrors auto fold on lock. 2 minute job if you know somebody who has the tools.

If you can provide the a VCDS auto scan,I would be very happy.
I am wanting to upgrade from Front Camera Gen 1 to Gen 2,but can't find part number anywhere.

If you can do that I would be very grateful

Regards,
Sima

Does the advanced driving and convenience pack include adaptive cruise control? I notice you can't pick both in the configurator

Advanced Comfort & Driving Pack is only available on DSG-auto, and is not available in conjunction with Adaptive Cruise Control.

Driving Assistance Pack is available on both manual and DSG-auto, and is available in conjunction with Adaptive Cruise Control.

Thank you, what's the difference please or do you know where I can find out more about the packs? It's bloody confusing and I supposed to be confirming my order tomorrow

You're asking the wrong person, sorry. I wouldn't bother with any of them.

I'm sure your dealer will be able to tell you what each part of the different packs does before you finalise your order.

I've had staff to do that for me for over a decade, so all I can do is quote what the brochure/price list says
