Looks like I have a coolant leak. IMG Warrington would be convenient to get it fixed. Anyone used them for diagnostic and repair work and could recommend?

Never used them. Always used my local SEAT Dealership in Crewe for any warranty work when I had my LEON 184. Can recommend them.

I’ve never used IMG Warrington, but I can highly recommend VAG Manchester. They fixed my coolant leak and my car only goes to them for any work I need doing.

Bit too far for me to drop off and taxi to work, but thanks will bear in mind for the future.

I take my car to Warrington, always had great service.
I used to take it to the guys in Manchester as well depending on convenience, but after a bad experience trying to buy my last 2 cars off of them (and ended up buying elsewhere) I refuse to even use their services department anymore.
So now I make sure it goes to Warrington instead.

I always used img while my car was in warranty and not had any problems.

I always Use Img for service and warranty work. Always had good experience with them. currenty on 166,000 from new on 14 leon st.
Great to hear another positive experience. Must say it was very straightforward to book in direct with IMG compared with the Lookers call centre approach.
There's a few in Warrington...there's MK Automotive quite near me that are VAG specialists, Awesome GTi aren't too far away but are quite pricey...I might just say

I haven't, but I think I'm going to next month when it needs service / MOT. £170 for the lot is pretty good IMO.
My dad has though, but in the end they couldn't fix his problem because he has a crack in the head gasket which is a new engine pretty much. So he's just getting a new car. But he said that they were really honest with him and were good to talk to (he used to be a mechanic) and said he'd definitely go back there.
Now my car's out of warranty there's not a lot of point paying over the odds for a Seat stamp, especially when you read so many stories of them not knowing what day it is...
Sounds like a good option for when mine is out of warranty...let us know how you get on if you decide to have your service and MOT there.
Car with them now, diagnosed major coolant leak but not sure exactly where from, and need to keep it for a few days. They also said “engine sounds noisy” whatever that means. Sigh.
Have they given you a courtesy car? I bought my FR from them so intend to take mine there for service whilst it's within warranty.
No, but I knew that when I booked in, they did offer one but for a later date.
