Now three on Autotrader plus my local one equals FOUR!

Not exactly flying out of the showrooms,it seems.
It should have had the pano roof and a few other bits of kit, keyless and ACC etc. Might be more attractive to a few then.

As much as I like the carbon bits and the big brakes etc I wouldn't personally buy an estate without the pano roof and I use my ACC all the time

There are currently 13 unregistered sold orders with retailers, so I'm guessing once you factor in the customers that have already taken delivery and the few that have been self-registered by dealerships about 50% are accounted for...

ACC maybe, but definitely not keyless and pano roofs have never had an appeal for me whereas a conventional sunroof was my default before panos came along. Really happy with my Carbon Edition as it has enough spec to be interesting. I'd lose the Nav functionality if I had to as AAuto is always an up-to-date option. Carbon Edition also suits me as I would only ever consider an estate. A space saver would have been nice as the brochure suggested that Leon Cupras have one. Don't know if anyone can check if they're near one?

My dealer has one at a premium just now, but it may have been pimped.

Is the pano roof the same as the Octy Estate?
If so,don't think I'd want one since quite a lot of faults seem to have occured.

If a car is self registered by a dealership wouldn’t a prospective buyer expect a reduced price? I know it’s possibly only still going to have delivery mileage on it but someone interested in the car would be the second owner wouldn’t they?

Now four Carbons on Autotrader, all at full price.

The problem is you can get a pre reg Golf R estate for £30k,admittedly with not much spec.

How about this?
Can't seem to link it but look up Buyacar brokers who are showing the Carbon edition:
"From £29469 or £404 per month, saving 17% off list price,"

Personally I tend to think this is just bait and this deal doesn't really exist.
Anyway,I'm not in any position to make a move for at least a month, but if anyone wants to call them? 0800 050 2333

Where did you find that as I can’t. I’d certainly take a punt at that price.

Edit: Found it, but the link to follow it up is broken
2nd Edit: Emailed them.

If you click on a link at the top right hand side, about the Carbon editions,it takes you to another page that implies they have FOUR available.
Anyway, let me know how you get on,please.

Had a reply:

"Sorry this car is no longer available, we have taken it off our website"

That's a pity...but I suspect they never had any proper access to any in the first place.
With the small number involved,I would guess a batch were customer orders and the rest are now in the hands of dealers, who,as far as we know, are hoping for full price..until they get desperate for sales about Christmas Eve perhaps?

Forgot about this thread. In December I'll be the proud owner of a Carbon Edition :)

For anyone interested in a Carbon Edition, I'd say keep looking out for them popping up second hand with low miles and a cheaper price tag. I just jumped ahead a bit ;)
Good news!
Going to tell us how you've done it?
Sounds like you have agreed to buy one in December after the dealer has run it for a couple of months?
