Leon/Cupra MY19 headlights

Does anyone know if the headlights in the MY19 Leon/Cupra are any better than those of the MY16?

I have a 65 plate Leon 5door at the moment and am awaiting delivery of my MY19 Cupra ST.. but I have a Golf R as a loaner until my Cupra arrives.. if I am honest! I definitly will be happy to get back into a Leon, as I’m not a Golf fan, but the headlights on the Golf R ar F**king AWSOME!!

They are way brighter than the Leon when on main beam and the cornering lights are great.. I’m hoping that Seat have improved theirs..

Any thoughts greatly appreciated..

Thanks... not hopeful then.. The 17 does look better, the golf’s lights seem way better than that..

Is the Golf R the latest one with LED lights or the old one with 25w bi-xenons? I'm guessing the former...the concensus of other people from another post here: https://forums.seatcupra.net/index....lights-vs-mk3-facelift-led-headlights.438476/ seems to think the facelift headlights are superior.

Good to know, they are better as the Golf ones are so much better than the Leon its ridiculous..

Yes, the Golf R has the LED lights.

The facelift LED's were advertised as 30% more powerful when it came out. I'm also hoping they are as pre facelift ones are terrible.

I've had 66 plate pre facelift and now have a facelift fr and I can confirm that he headlights are better in the facelift. Seem to light a little further on dipped beam but turn main beam on and it's like mid day again.
