I'm looking to purchase a good fmic and possibly get it fitted at the same place can anyone point me in the right direction. I live in Leeds so anywhere close?
cheers

Good option for a FMIC is an Airtec, you can get one from Awesome GTI (link below) along with a bunch of other places

Not sure on where you could get it fitted in Leeds as I'm from London but I'd assume that most garages would fit them as its a reasonably simple job.

Have you considered fitting it yourself?
hi thanks for the link. I have been in touch with R tec and they will supply and fit a welly cooler system for me at a good price. so I think I will just go there like thanks again dude.

Mind me asking how much, been thinking about getting one myself and airtec isn't far.

Have you thought about a custom set up? either done at a shop or done yourself? I worked out I could do one on my auq for around £200-£300, £500+ seems a bit excessive for an intercooler and 2 small bends.

Wellycooler, bar and plate, £70-£100, a few bits of pipe bends and joiners, say £100 for the lot, map sensor boss, £25, bov t piece around £15, self sealing take off port for the n75 is also around £15-£20.

Also that Airtec one is for a Cupra R, so it wont just bolt on the the LC, manifold is flipped as well as different boost pipes to the original coolers.

I have been quoted £575 for the welly cooler fmic and pipes Rtec set my last cupra up and I was more than impressed also they will do all the delets necessary for it to run better.

Just thought this might be helpful. Unless your going hybrid k03s or bigger k04 then a Welly cooler is a little overkill and might give a little bottom end lag. If you plan to be sub 300 BHP then I suggest a 550x225x63mm core with 2.25" piping on the hot side and 2.5" piping on the cold side. This will give just as good a cooling effect and a little bit more punch down low as you wont be trying to fill an oversized intercooler core. Hope this helps.

my new k03s has just landed and I'm taking it to a friend that is going to hybrid it also new manifold for it. I have just purchased a ported inlet manifold and 440 injectors. I'm hoping for 300+. we shal see once Rtec have done there magic with it.cheers dude
