I don't know mate, but where are you in the country? If you're close to me I'm happy to do it for you (assuming it doesn't lock to one car when you connect it?). I'm near Bristol/Bath/NE Somerset.
Ah, my camp is in Salisbury and I live in south east so probably a tiny bit too far :( thanks very much for the offer though.

It does work, I've just done it this weekend. But you can barely hear it, it's very quiet and very short beeps, I thought it hadn't worked at first. Over the loud clunk of the locks and the wing mirrors folding, it's easily missed.

Noticed this morning, possibly as I was in Sainsburys, that some c:censored:t has decided to key my car. Lovely. 4 weeks old today.

It’s an odd one, can’t work out exactly what has done it, as some seems to buff off?

Both front and rear cams recording the whole time, gone through so much footage but not a hint. And you can hear car doors 10 bays down closing/opening so would of thought I’d at least hear the sound. Always park alone and away as well.. may have to hunt a CCTV covered bay next.

Oh well.. need to get some quotes in! If anyone knows a decent repairer or has a contact who they trust please let me know

Sorry that is what I meant, on the pre facelift you get a very satisfying beep, on the Facelift yes the techncial change is applied and works but whatever it is using to make the beep is no good for this purpose and I have not yet seen a way of solving it.

No idea! I hope it was a more genuine non-malicious scratch, as you say hand bag or someone carrying something. i would prefer that to a targeted key dig into my car. I just hoped i caught whoever and a number plate, but wishful thinking!

Too low for a trolley going past? B@stards regardless. You must be gutted. It can be repaired though and shouldn't cost a fortune. I had a dent knocked out of my bumper, with corner resprayed and the diffuser corner resprayed for £90. What area you in and maybe someone can suggest a decent guy?

How much was the spoiler? did you painted by yourself?

Hi mate, the spoiler was a 70 pound ebay job from Poland. Gel coated fibre glass which was ok. Yes I painted it myself but I have some experience in automotive painting (although I used cans).

The fibre glass spoilers from Poland offered on ebay are ok, the fit was good however if I was to do it again, I noticed there is aUK based company on ebay selling a plastic (PET?) spoiler for £134. This will be a better bet because the plastic is flexible some the fit will ultimately be better when bonding to the boot lid and also less surface imperfections which are associated with firbre glass (although most of these are mitigated with a good paint finish).

Unsure if could be a trolley, its a real odd one due to some of it rubbing off..?

I have had a Smart Repair quote - £300 mark, and an Autoglass one at near on £700 stating they will repaint the whole panel etc..

Waiting on a known guy to call back though my old man who has always sorted his Mercedes out, fingers crossed!

I am in the North London/Herts area, so any tips or suggested places would be greatly appreciated. I am more frustrated now looking at the mark!

I had similar problem before with nissan and just bought same colour door and straight swap. Was £500 cheaper.

Finally gave the car a wash and dried,
Cleaned up the alloys and all glass,
Applied tyre dressing.

It’s looking good! Loving the shine!

Had the Seat styling kit fitted this week (rear bumper, spoiler and side skirts)
Kept original exhaust because, well £500, and actually like the original look.
FY15 plate.

Black always looks better in real life not sure these pics do it justice ! I am chuffed though, sits lower and has more aggresive look without being OTT.

Also had steering wheel swapped for newer fy18, feels nicer and more premium.

Should stop me buying a new car for a couple of years

Please can i ask if the steering wheel was a straight swap, or did you need to replace the airbag and then get the wheel recoded?

Also where did you get the wheel from?

Cheers
