Does it make any difference to sound etc?
Seems fairly easy to fit?

I’ll report back about the sound but on fit it was fiddly but not too difficult once I’d googled it. You have to disconnect the Airbox and ‘pop’ it out it sits on some little ball sockets which hold it in place. To do that you need some large pliers (I used adjustable plumbing ones) to disconnect the air intake feed pipe and the air ‘out’ pipe into the engine (there’s another small pipe I didn’t bother to disconnect as the top of the Airbox stays in the engine bay). Then there are 4 clips around the outside which you need to pry open with a screwdriver. Once you’ve removed the bottom of the box there are two posi screws underneath which hold the filter in place.

Awkward but not too hard.

Unrepairable puncture yesterday. All I can say is that I'm so glad I bought a car with a spare wheel. Only 20 minutes to swap the wheel (most of that spent getting the caps off the lug nuts)

Couldn't imagine having to deal with that shitty gunk stuff or waiting for recovery.

Had the Seat styling kit fitted this week (rear bumper, spoiler and side skirts)
Kept original exhaust because, well £500, and actually like the original look.
FY15 plate.

Black always looks better in real life not sure these pics do it justice ! I am chuffed though, sits lower and has more aggresive look without being OTT.

Also had steering wheel swapped for newer fy18, feels nicer and more premium.

Should stop me buying a new car for a couple of years

Definitely an improvement! Did you just ask your local dealer to fit all of these or did they ask if you wanted the styling pack at some point? My Cupra definitely needs side skirts or blades but not sure if I should wait and mention it to them when I go for a service

I contacted the parts team at Lookers Manchester. They had some skirts in stock as previous parts manager bought loads, so they were keen to do a deal.
Maybe worth giving a call depending on where you are based!
They did a great job and i even got a bottle of champagne out of it lol
