Yeah sport stiffens up more than comfort, then cupra stiffens up more than sport
Sorry, I meant directional stability control rather than the Dynamic chassis control. Which in my prefacelift 1.8 tsi. I go into car settings and put it into "sport" as it doesn't apply automatically with the different dirving modes.

From what I gather, when this is in normal. the car will dfeather the throttle if it detects a wheel slip. When its in sport mode, it doesnt try to drive your car for you quite as much. At least that's what it feels like. I've still managed to throw the back end out on more than one ocaision with this in the normal setting. Only driven with it in sport mode on private roads to see what it does.

With the Cupra i think you can turn this off which is the equivalent of the Cupra setting. I maybe wrong. I'll take a look at the options next time I'm in the Car. Edit:
If you hold the ESC off button for 1 second it puts it into sport mode which, like you said, limits the intervention of the traction control and stability systems. However on the Cupra if you hold the ESC off button for 5 seconds this deactivates both stability and traction control.

Most of the time Cupra mode, 1/3 of the time with shifter paddles.
I put in comfort only on really bad roads or very long trips (which doesn't happen to often)

Do you stay in cupra 'S' or 'D' on the gearbox. The only issue with staying in 'S' on a normal road is the gear stays in second when doing 30mph.

When I feel "sporty" mood (which is most of the time :) ) - I use shifters on S (move the gear stick to manual), but if it is traffic jam or I don't wish to make dsg farts because it's too early in the morning and waking people is not fun - I stay in D.

Another thing - if it is traffic jam and there are many those who stick to my ass - I also go manually - with high revs and dsg farts - to keep people away from "that jerk in cupra". :drive1:

Cupra mostly. Switch gear from S to D sometimes. Also have Individiual setup with comfort dcc and engine in eco for long runs.

Always in cupra in d....remapped my dsg, never used s again.

Silly question (I don't have my car yet) is it possible to save various individual modes? Or individual just saves the last settings you used? Be good to have a few like Commute, Wet etc.

Don't think so, perhaps something you could ask the developers of Carista to look in to.

Would be nice to have something like the BMW drive profiles that has different driving profiles depending on who is driving the car.

Yes individual will remember what you left in it, but if you have the engine set to cupra or sport it will always revert to comfort when you turn the car off, even though it still says cupra in the individual settings so you will need to reselect individual everytime, but tbh it doesn't change anything on the engine bar throttle response and sound actuator level

Apologies, just reread what you put and realised what I answered wasn't even what you asked

When i got my car and noticed the terrible sound from the sound actuator I drove in comfort all the time. But after turning it off completely I use cupra mode

Disconnected the sound actuator. Use the individual mode with everything in cupra apart from Dcc which is in comfort.
