Dash rattle

My instrument binnacle was rattling a while back and I narrowed it down to the clear plastic being loose. It was quickly fixed with a folded up receipt with the intention to find a more eloquent fix later on but I can barely see it from where I sit so I haven't bothered.

The rattle was driving me nuts though so hope you find a fix.

Just pull it off, it does literally just pull off, and line the outside edge with felt tape, takes 3 minutes and costs about £4!

The whole plastic binnacle, it's just clipped in!

I must be lucky with the dash rattles, my old 13 plate had a fair few but my 16 plate FR doesn't have any of the common ones. The boot lid trim rattles a bit and the passenger side air vent squeaks like no tomorrow but only when I turn round a corner or have just started the car

I would be more annoyed seeing that sticking out than a rattle, could you not have cut it down a bit that just fitted with nowt showing. My 2014 280 is still totally rattle free so I must be one of the lucky ones
