Haha it's there as a reminder I'm supposed to do something with it.

Mine is a step down from 4k. As I wasn't sure the 1080 could handle 4k. But the 3440 width is ace cause it's effectively two HD monitors side by side. But with no bezel.

My recently revamped setup. Built myself a proper rig and sold the laptop on. Also upgraded the monitors to wall mounted 27inch curved 1440p panels, and got some Pioneer speakers for decent audio:

Also got the VR roof mounted to keep the cables out of the way:

And the "engine" that runs it. LOL

I only play sim racing games these days, with the odd game of battlefield 4, but I'm getting too old for first person shooters.

The set up is:
Asus Strix X99 mobo with an i7 6850K 6 core
32GB DDR4 corsair Vengeance RAM
Palit Super jetstream 1080Ti GPU
custom watercooled in an inverted Aerocool ?? case
TS-PC racer wheel with modded rim for more buttons
Fanatec CSR pedals inverted
HTC Vive
32" Philips curved monitor for sim rig
24" Asus monitor for interwebs
