you can knock off DRL at your dealership but arnt allowed to do so, unless you know someone you may get away with it.
if your looking for the easy way to knock them off all together, remove your headlight switch find the wire going to switch for the DRL to make it even easier trace it to pins off switch as it has DRL marking it, cut cut the wire bosh no DRL but leave enough wire to heat shrink back on to sell

Hi. I drive a 2019 cupra 290 and I have to say. Although I get why the lights are on all the time. But if I stop to make a long phone call or something.. why can I not have the electrics on and have a button to turn off the lights

I didn't get that, you were driving along, stopped to make/take a long phone call - and you have the ignition on, that does not make sense to me, with the ignition off the DRLs will be off and they are LEDs on Leon Cupra anyway, so if you must sit with the ignition on, very little extra current will be getting drawn from the battery.
