Getting part numbers from VIN number?

I phoned Seat the other day to get a part number for wheel bearings for my car. They would give me the price (£165 each, yeah right!) but wouldn't give me the part number. Given that aftermarket bearings are £40-80 depending on brand, I really need to find the part number because there are different variants of the bearings. Any ideas?
