VZ2 2.0 245 Ordered

Just ordered a VZ2 in Solid White, looking forward to it being delivered!

Anyone know how the exhaust noise compares to this years GTI? Been trying to find reviews and videos on this model but there doesn’t seem to be any, anywhere!

I really like the look of the rear end, but after ordering it looks like the 245bhp only gets twin exhausts, instead of quad exhausts. It’s not a deal-breaker but it is a bit disappointing. There are mixed messages out there- the configuration on Cupra site doesn’t let you zoom in to see.

I hope it’s just a vicious rumour…

It'll be correct as the Golf GTI/Clubsport/R follow the same philosophy...

There isn't much information out there. Someone posted in a different forums pictures of the rear part of the 245 TSI.
It seems that the diffuser isn't painted at all. The other versions E-Hybrid 204,245 - 300 TSI have an painted diffuser.
But it looks actually quite nice, too. What do you think about it ?

I ordered one too, but it will be an german version.

I think I prefer the unpainted diffuser really sets it apart - looking forward to delivery!

That's the 245 e-hybrid, more information available on that than the 2.0 245 petrol.

You can see the e-mode and hybrid buttons on the screen which he changes during the video? He also sets off in e-mode.

Year definitely an eHybrid-Video. You can see the second "tank cap" for the charging connection.
The Leon 2.0 TSI should sound like the Formentor 2.0 TSI - Idle

I ordered a 2.0 245 TSI VZ2 in Black a few days ago (on lease) and I had thought that the 245 came with quad exhausts as that what it says on the Cupra Leon Web site (brochure download dated Nov 21 -see snap shot below). It clearly states twin exhausts on each side, However it looks like its only twin exhausts one either side. A bit disappointing.

The price list is rubbish, a lot of bugs. You can'r rely on it. But at the moment, you can find pictures of the rear end.
If you configure a 245 TSI, you can clearly see, just 2 pipes an a black plastic diffusor.

I couldn't get the configure option to work on Microsoft Edge but have now tried Chrome and see what you mean. Thanks for clarifying.

It's like the golf, GTi 2 pipes, golf r 4, Leon is the same, maybe you won't get the "fake" pipes we have in the 300 version

The 300, doesn't have real fake pipes. There is just a gap between the silicencer an the exhaust pipes.
The exhaust at the Leon 245, is like the GTI 245.

I put in an order for the 245 vz2 2litre as well .

Yet to be given a build date but my order has went through. Currently got a mk8 golf style (150) that the cupra will be replacing

Snap, all signed off yesterday, admin fee paid up today and can see prices have jumped about £40 today, got in in the knick off time.

There's a batch due Jan and another march which suits me as current car is due to go back in April.
