That's so frustrating I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully that changes very soon. When did you order the car?I have just been told by CUPRA that my provisional week 41 has been put back to status 00 with no more build week... yay!
I ordered through Nationwide on the 2nd June. Hopefully I am in the phase where I get a confirmed date soon ?
I ordered 5th June through the dealer directly. I've got everything crossed for you mate!
I ordered my VZ2 late May and was pleasantly surprised when I received a confirmed build week of 32 (9th August). Although it went into production at the alloted time it still isn’t built. I check every week. Here’s the latest message:-
Hey Steve, we’re sorry but your CUPRA Formentor still hasn't been able to complete production, this is most likely as it is awaiting parts due to the ongoing global parts shortage. We'd recommend dropping us a message next week to check for any changes, however if you have any concerns over your order or any issue surrounding this please contact your CUPRA Retailer to discuss this further. Thanks.

I've been told the same, provisional week 38 (this week) Now I have no build week againI have just been told by CUPRA that my provisional week 41 has been put back to status 00 with no more build week... yay!
I also have a V2 190 on order, fingers crossed mine is in the same batch. I was told when I ordered 24/07 that the 190’s were going into production at the end of September, so hopefully that’s true.
I know of couple of people in England already have them but yes they are very scarce at the moment. Hopefully all goes to plan! Have you been given the same build week as me then?
I haven’t asked about a build week tbh but it would be nice to think it was soon ??

The same for myself. I supposedly had a confirmed build slot of week 34 for my VZ2 310. That changed and now Cupra are saying it's still awaiting to be given a date. Definitely don't think I'll see the car this year. Really considering cancelling and keeping my 4 series now

I asked the question after seeing your update. I'm the same, been told it won't be entering production and to check with them next week to see if it has been allocated a new build date.
I'm just away to go and extend the lease on my current car.
Be Warned Situation Going From Bad to worse…. Very disappointed… just spoke to Cupra to try and get an update on my car which was ordered on 27/05/2021. Dealer confirmed build week 31 (seven weeks ago). Cupra just informed me it’s still in the factory and should be finished next week if it’s not one of the cars affected by the semiconductor shortage I should receive it in about 6 weeks (this in itself is a nightmare as my current car goes back end of October). If it is affected they have said could be 3 Months!!!! This is so disappointing as it now means I may have to cancel the order and look for another vehicle.
The V2’s not already built will be getting the 10” screens, which apparently are ‘in stock’ (how many they have is anyone’s guess) but I believe the VZ’s are still getting the 12” screen, so maybe they are waiting for a new delivery of 12”screens?
I was also told the the V2 190bhp (which I have on order) was the model going into mass production at the end of September, so maybe the other models will go on the back burner until the run of 190’s are done, especially if they are also awaiting chips/screens for those particular models too. Or it could just be a huge lottery and they are swapping and changing depending on which way the wind is blowing !! I don’t think anyone knows what the hell is going on!
I have just received contract hire documents from the finance company via NVC and been provided with the registration number.. I will be in the two week cooling off period before the car can be delivered so now in a similar position to you..
Ordered at the end of July, confirmed date was 37th week (previous one) and the car indeed was marked as ready and no one knew it wasn't on the delivery. Got a call today that the delivery of the car was moved to week 40 due to who knows what. Sold my GTI this Monday so kind of a bad situation to be in. I'm from Czech Republic and the order was placed here via a dealership that has a branch in Germany so they have some "extra" treatment.
I have a full spec Formentor 310hp with Brembos, matte blue, everything you could click in the configurator is basically there.
I was also informed by the Czech Cupra dealership that representants of the Spanish factory are flying in this Friday with some new info regarding production and no one knows what information to expect. I should however get more info on monday.
I wouldn't mind if they were to send me a VZ5 instead of the ordered car as a means of apologies. Fingers crossed for all the grown up boys waiting for their toys.
