Leon Mk.3 Rear Hatch Rear Bike Rack

Has anyone ssucessfully fitted a bike rack (no tow bar) to the rear of a Leon Mk.3 without causing any damage, if so please do let me know what make/model used???

I don't personally like the 'hook/hang on' bike racks. A friend used one a few years back it damaged the top edge of his boot.

I'm sure some people have used them without issue - just for me the idea doesn't sit well.

I use a Saris Gran Fondo without any issues
