Picked the car up Saturday afternoon, over the moon with it. Having not seen one in white in person, I was a little worried about how it would look but I'm glad I went for it.

So I got all excited today. Email and text from my dealer with a video message.

Basically just updating me that the car still sits in the order process and no further info!

Was a little disappointed. But has only been 4 weeks.

We are about the same stage I'm just over 4 weeks, feels like 8!
Its weird I've waited longer for cars, I think I'm on here too much reading about everyone's deliveries.
What did you order? I'm waiting on a VZ2 310 in graphene with only Beats added.

Missus ordered hers on 5th April, said it'll be about 12 weeks but we'll see. She's gone for a V2, manual, black

I've ordered a V2, no options. So hopefully won't take forever!

Great to hear that cars are arriving now, some with very short delays, you lucky people. I ordered mine on 3rd Aug, and got a call from my dealer (on my birthday earlier in April) to say the car was scheduled to be here in May - no date yet.

I've been told that my extended delay was because I added every option ? - except a tow bar (no need for that ?). They did offer earlier build dates if I removed features, but that wasn't my plan.

I'll chase up this next week to get something more accurate. How are you guys tracking the build? I got a build number but never found a way to use it.

I must admit, im getting very excited now.

Just throwing my hat in the ring here.
We ordered a VZ2 hybrid with no options on a personal Lease contract back in Oct 2021 with estimated delivery in March 2022.
Have had numerous phone calls either with the Lease company, or with the franchised dealer that is handling the order,
Was told in January that it might not arrive until July/August. Was then told it might not arrive this year.
Was then told it had been given an anticipated build week that would put it on for April delivery.
Was then told this was wrong as all of the hybrids have been pushed back.
Was then told it had a new build date of May with estimated delivery to dealer of late June.
Have just been told today that 'all of the hybrids have disappeared off the order system' and they have not known that to happen before.

So I have no idea what's going on.

Think you might at least get yours before me. I ordered last month for a V2 Hybrid. Called Tuesday and I still not got a build date but quoted a estimate delivery of December without any evidence behind that date. If I don't hear something in the next month I'm gonna cancel and order a Tesla through company car scheme. Don't really like them as I don't get to keep the car if I choose to do so. On the other hand I get a Tesla which I wouldn't be able to afford otherwise. Hopefully us hybrid formentor buyers will get some good news soon.

Have just had a further call today from the Leasing company to say that the car we ordered has been put on long-term hold, with no dates for manufacture for the next 16 months. I called the franchise dealer to see what they might know and they confirmed all hybrid Cupra models are on hold until 2023/24.

If this all turns out to be true, guess we won't be getting a Cupra after all then. Sad times. Not great for building a brand reputation.

I have had a fairly major issue on my car that shouldn't really happen on a brand new car, and been without it for three weeks, which I will post about once I have the car back and the matter fully resolved. However, when you say about building a brand reputation, I don't think they give a flying f**k about their reputation. Their customer service has been absolutely shocking, so much so that I have an official complaint with Cupra. Even my dealer is disgusted with the way I've been treated by them. When I have spoken to them and said that if they are trying to separate themselves from SEAT and be a more prestigious brand, they are going the wrong way about it as their service is shocking and as a previous BMW customer for my last five cars, they should take a leaf out of their book for customer service, I get a reply of stony silence.

2023 to 2024. The newer facelift version will be out by then. Need to speak to Barlow Motors and see what they say.

Unusually I may be one of the lucky ones! Got an email from Nationwide yesterday to say my VZ1 Hybrid is expected at the dealer in 2 weeks time (ordered in Sept)... If I'd heard of the delays (2023/24) last week I probably would have cancelled at that point.

Called up the dealer. He said still a lead time of December for me. But will check in again in 2 weeks. I dunno who to believe but hope Barlow's are right or even better a shorter build and delivery time. Would like to hear from others who ordered a hybrid around March April to see what times they have been quoted.
