Changed the key fob battery

Note to self, don't trust Google. First search said 2032. Order placed, open up key, 2025. Oh the 10 pack I already have

Swapped the rear wheels. Was checking tyre pressures ready for an Easter road trip and discovered the dealer had put directional new tyres on the wrong way round!

If I remember correctly 2032 will fit and last a bit longer than the 2025. Just a little thicker battery that’s all

I did try and squeeze it in, but it didn't want to go flat. It's ok, got 9 more 2025

Should last me till I can buy a newer fr, petrol this time. Find myself riding more seeing a diesel is like rocking horse poo these days

Did a few things today.

A3 alu subframe
Powerflex bushes front wishbones and rear trailing arm (btw most bushes were not in the greatest condition which is kind of odd regarding my use and the 50K km)
ECS rear chassis bars
Hel brake lines
DO88 oem pipes replacements

Looks good, did it make a big difference?

Nice! Do you have a link for the DO88 oem pipes replacements?

I have no idea yet! :D

Only did 5-6km from the shop to work. It definitely needs an alignment now and I am booked for Saturday morning.

@queen here you are

https://www.do88.se/en/artiklar/audi-seat-skoda-vw-18-20-tsi-mqb-pressure-hoses.html

Note that these are stock cooler/pipes replacements. If I recall correctly you have an upgraded Do88 cooler so you better wait for them to release the DSG compatible pipes for the next gen cars which will also be right for ours. According to their customer service they will be released during summer some time.

Got a 2014 Leon FR, only owned it two weeks today. Upgraded the infotainment from the mib1 5.8 to mib2 6.5 with the cubby hole & usb
The swap is surprisingly easy. Started by removing the heater controls, & the gearbox trim. Made removing the cubby hole easy, then removed the glovebox unit. With it all out, you can reach your hand up where the heater controls are, to a hole at the top of the glovebox
Taped the cables you no longer need out the way. The screen you have to shave off a couple of tabs off the white cable & viola
Breathed a sigh of relief when it all worked

Long time lurker, first time poster. After picking Carista for the princely sun of £8, I had a tinker…

So far:
Needles sweep on start up
Refuel quantity on dash
Scandi DRLs
Single click mirror fold
Direct throttle

One question re refuel qty, its currently showing in gallons…is there any way to get it to show in litres?

Yes, in obdeleven (sorry haven't got Carista) you can go to Control Units - Dashboard - Adaptations - Units Adjusted - Volume

Sorted. Changed from gallons to litres in infotainment settings.

Spent the morning down at Goodwood for the Supercar Sunday and also swapped out my Maxton splitter for the TRC option. Of course a little on the drive photo shoot took place because what else was I going to do to pass the time :)
