I couldn't see any discussion on this (apologies if it has) but is the sound related to a driving mode supposed to remain "set"?
When I first got the car (May 2021) I used to have the car in Sport option (so with muted mock engine noise); I now use the personal settings option (cog symbol) where I have also selected Sport engine noise. However, in both scenarios, the car often starts up with no mock noise (just the normal driving mode noise) and, once on the road, I have to toggle through the offroad, normal, sport, cupra, personal modes to get the sound working again.
Is this normal? The dealer thought so (not sure why). I'm hoping 1896 may solve it.
Not a major issue...just an extra irritation!
PS. Should add that I refer to the "noise" as that is easier to notice immediately; the other relevant settings (engine, steering, suspension) may also not stay as set on start up.
