Update: Rattle is gone!
Now I still need to do the other 3 doors with some insulation... and the rear seats, and the trunk area... and everywhere else :ROFLMAO:
Haven't been able to see the new ambient LED yet because of the long days.. but I'll take some pics of them soon. Installation was very easy.

Did you need to install extra hardware? Is it not a simple OBD-activation?

Converted my Leon Cupra’s Seat badges to black, and added red side-fender emblems (Golf R style).
Ended up removing the red emblems. Wasn’t a fan after all.

I added an additional RGB LED, from an Audi door pocket, and I routed 3 additional wires, spliced from the original RGB led wires that were already in the door. (+, GND and LIN)

Strange that in the near 8 years I had my Cupra 280, it never had any door rattles.

I’ve kept them, just in case. I’ve ordered a different style Cupra lettering, but I rather like it the way it is now. And, people don’t have time to read my rear when I pass them 😉

Alarm went off 8 times last night, that was fun, all the neighbours coming out at first thinking there was a break in on the car (this was really nice of them) after the 2nd time it was obviously a fault, in the end i kept the keys by the bed and quickly turned it off.

Battery was faulty and a cell was near dead which was messing with the voltage setting the alarm off. £200 later today on a new battery and re program.

lovely.

Got back from a 1152 mile round trip to The Netherlands on Tuesday, the old Diesel did us well bringing in a solid 60mpg, although it wasn't good enough to stop us getting covid.

Sorry on behalf of my fellow countrymen for infecting you! I hope you had a good time in the low lands despite catching covid!

I got back from a trip to Italy, and now the car is DIRTY. On the outside because of the dust+rain in Italy, and pretty dirty on the inside as well... Driving 3000km with 3 passengers takes its toll  Still a few days left of my holidays, which I will use to clean it, add some more ambient lights and noise insulation (I did my passenger door here: https://www.seatcupra.net/forums/threads/what-did-you-and-your-mk3-leon-do-today.379107/post-5011360 , and add the black logo covers I got a few weeks ago. So there's a lot on the todo-list!

Halfway the way back home, being dirty.

While I had my doorcards off, I added some Graficar felt to it:

And I added RGB leds to the door pockets:

Closeup inside the door pocket, not much to see here. I'll take some pictures at night as soon as I'm in the car at night:

Testing some things for the installation of the panoramic roof ambient lighting :D
Checking whether or not a lightguide would fit somewhere in the rail area. The OEM rail doesn't really fit that well, but the plan is to use the roof LEDs from Tiguan with these light guides :)

The plan is to keep it subtle, not a distracting fairground type of thing

Well, blend door actuator took another turn for the worse. It's gone from the occasional click to almost continuous clicking and now it's making a very loud drone.
Gonna be a fix with lots of swearing, hope the neighbours are ready to learn some new words
