Formentor with a single tip dual exhaust?

I came across a youtube video, where the formentor has a single pipe dual exhaust. Does anyone know if this is a country related thing or is it a mod?

Most likely custom. I'm installing a custom exhaust in mine in the coming weeks, but it will have double pipes in both sides, copper colored of course

It's completely stock. The 2.0 tsi 245hp comes this way from factory . 1 tip each side.

I see, so you will be replacing the fake exhaust bumper trim with real copper ones? Mine is the 2.0 TSI 4WD 190PS, and also has the fake exhaust tips, so will be looking getting that replaced.

Thanks for the answer! After doing more googling I found that there is actually this car option, didn't realise until now. I can't stand the fake bumper exhaust that is on mine currently So will be getting that sorted in the future.

Exactly! I cant stand the plastic trim. From what I've found the trim itself actually clicks right off. There might be some plastic that has to be cut off the bumper itself underneath, but overall should be easy.

I don't know if the 2.0 190 comes with hidden exhaust tips in both sides, or if it's single sided. But if it's dual sided you can modify it pretty cheaply and add exhaust tips yourself, with some tinkering.
I'll be replacing the entire exhaust with a stainless cat/GPF-back Supersprint system

2.0 190 has a hidden tip on each side.

I also looked at getting a couple of right angle corners with tips on to attach to the existing back box outlets
