Unlocking Car Lights

Hi all,

I recently got a leon. I have a carista. It’s bugging me that when I unlock the car it only flashes the indicators and doesn’t put the lights on. Is there any setting to change this?

Depends on the year of manufacture, model and what options are fitted to the car.

Generally cars fitted with the auto lights have this setting as standard.

Need to look at coding for coming home/leaving home lights.

I don’t have auto lights. My old car didn’t have auto lights and they turned on when I unlocked the car. What does coming home lights do? It’s currently on 30s whatever that means. It’s a leon FR titanium

Do yourself a favour and throw carista in the bin before it breaks something. It's a weekly occurrence for us having to sort module configurations that it's cocked up

It's possible to configure it so they come on without auto lights and wipers, however for the cost and ease you may aswell just fit auto lights/wipers and gain extra functionality

So it is possible to do it in carista? I’ve only changed park pilot on the carista

auto lights are leaving home lights....unlock the car headlights come on.

Coming home lights headlights stay on when you lock the car for say 30 seconds.

Coming home lights are a function of automatic lights, aswell as leaving home lights - when it's dark. In addition to this, the lights automatically turn on whilst driving, when it's dark.

You can have the lights come on when unlocking without auto lights but it's a bodge. Just do it correctly and fit automatic lights & wipers.
