1.4 TSi ACT Downpipe Advice

Hi, looking a sports cat to go along with my cat-back system, but needs to be good enough to withstand pops and bangs as it’s being mapped soon with overrun but don’t think the standard cat will withstand any bigger than the few pops now. Wondering if anyone has ever done this before for the 1.4 and if they can advise…

I've got the 1.4Tsi ACT with a pop/bang map on it. It's been mapped like that for over 4 years now with the standard CAT. Not had any issues, always passes MOT on the emissions test.

Oh really?! I was talking to my tuner and said it would be ideal but I guess if it’s possible with standard cat then I could get it done and then worry about a free flow later on. Was your cat mapped out? And do you have a video or anything of it? Thanks
