As the car is being sprayed. And engine is semi being built... I need a pair of wing mirrors... but not sure early or late shape.. what's peoples opinions and why.
Is one of them got a bigger view area... I don't know. Its been about 7 years since I drove the old girl on the road. Please help and share your choice.

As I drive an LC I've got the squarer mirrors - I always think the later teardrop ones look more like the Mk2's mirrors, though I suppose being curvier they do work with the overall body shape.

Maybe the colour choice is as important as the shape ;-)

Whenever I see a Leon with the old style square mirrors, I just think it makes the car look old.

Teardrop for me.

If for track car then I would go for whichever ones have best visibility. If road then later ones

Completely agree. But it being over 6 years since I had a Leon on the road. Who here has had both types and can help

Had both. Capra and an R
Can’t say that you’d. price much difference.
Plenty big enough with either.
As it’s a race car I’d be going with the most drag efficient and smallest and lightest I could get away with.
So the teardrop would win for that and aesthetics too.

Ok I have the tear drops and do like them, but I actually think the older model 1s look more aggressive with that square almost flat appearance, where teardrops look more smooth on the eye. I think with the color ur going old style
