Model Year 21/22 Textil/plastic piece on the front left floor

Hello all,

I recently bough a used Cupra Formentor VZ (from 2021) and something is missing on the floor at front left seat. PFA.
Could you shoot a picture of yours, so i am able to figure out if a textil or plastic piece is missing there. Even better if you are aware of the part number of that accessory.

Do you mean there is a piece of textil missing? I have no idea what it was before, because i bought it in that condition.

We have a large plastic cover at this place on ours. It seems to protect some kind of control unit (never removed it see).
You can see it at the bottom of this pic:

It may depend on the trim version.

I have a piece like that missing on the front left passenger side, Uk spec car.

Production cost savings will mean that Cupra will have only one version of the floor carpeting for all Formentors, hence why that small cut out section is visible in cars without the upgraded audio system.

For anyone who’s unhappy with the cut out section in their car’s carpet, then it might be possible to buy a cheap carpet sample square or a single carpet tile that’s a close texture and colour match from a local carpet store. That carpet sample can then be used to patch the cut out section in the car’s carpet.
