Model Year 21/22 What tyres Asytmetric 6 or Turanza 6 Formentor VZ

Hi All,
I need to replace front tyres on a newly purchased 2021 VZ 310. I live in the UK and like many have been surprised with the road noise. I did admittedly come from a BMW 320 Msport touring. So a very different car in both performance and also refinement. But I do need to replace the tyres regardless and have narrowed it down to good year Asymetric 6 or Turanza 6 for a combo of queit or comfort. The good years are meant to be more sporty. But keen to hear if anyone has got either sets of these tyres and honest reviews. The existing tyres are Turanza 5's. Thanks all in advance

You've got 4WD?

What's the tread on the rears like? Might be best to replace all four.

Have you considered Michelin Pilot Sports? Specifically the Cross Climate 3 Sport.

I had the cross climate sports on my BMW. Nice tyre. Are they quiet? The issue I have is trying to lower the sound a little.

I've had Michelin PS - they were like butter - lasted no time at all and I'm not hard on my tyres. I won't buy them again.

Compared to your outgoing tyres which have, say, <3mm of tread any new tyre is going to be quieter simply because you've got more rubber to work with and soften the ride / noise. - Apologies if I'm teaching eggs - suck - Grandmother.

As for the CrossClimate3 Sports? I've been running them for the last 6,000 miles since early November and I can't fault them; grippy, responsive, quiet, okay on fuel. NB> I run my tyre pressures at the Comfort setting, as opposed to the higher standard level, which helps with ride, comfort, grip and noise.

I'd happily run them all year round, except I have a preference to run a winter / all season tyre November - April and a regular summer tyre on sportier wheels in the summer. As it happens, I've switched to my summer set this morning.

Assuming starting tread depth was 7mm, after 6,000 miles they're down to 6mm. I generally change tyres at 3mm so have 3mm of wear to go @ 6,000 mile per mm; e.g. 24,000 miles from new. More than happy with that.

What's the state of the tyres on the rear? As you have 4WD you ought to keep the tread depth as equal as possible all round.
