Yup. Bought it in February. So far I really like it. Had a Jag F-pace P400e before it. It's not quite as quick as the Jag but hardly noticeable in everyday driving. It's the First Edition.

How do find the overall economy?
I understand daily town driving on EV move but on a long trip when the battery has drained?
Currently driving a Formentor 1.5 dsg and debating on either the same engine again in the Terramar or go for the 272.

To be honest I've never checked the MPG. It's not something that bothers me too much as I'm retired and do mostly shorter journeys which tend to be all electric unless I feel like hitting Cupra or sport modes. With a better electric range than the Jag hybrid I had previously I find I'm hardly using any petrol. I like the hybrid for when we go away in the UK and dont have to panic about charging.

Same engine at the Terramar might struggle since the car is heavier. Hence economy won't be the same as the Formentor. I owned a Formentor for 3 years, 1.5dsg, great numbers in consumption especially on the motorway.

Now as for the Terramar 272, I have only done 400km so far, one charge at 100% when I got it. 5.6 lt/100km but I will revisit this number. Expect it to be more economical for sure.

Do you not charge it when it gets low, I normally do?

I only had the chance to charge it once so far :)

Do you have a home charger? I have an EO Mini Pro which I bought online and my electrician fitted for me. I think they have discontinued them and now have an updated model.
I usually charge at Tesco's when we go shopping just to get the extra space and avoid the door knocker brigade!

Battery is 20kWh and I can charge at home in 8hrs, normal AC shucko, no wallbox. Cable for free with the car, mode 2.

For 11 kW AC I got a mode 3 cable from the dealership for 300€. Needs 2.5hrs.

For 50kW DC cables are provided in the charging location, needs 30mins, didn't do that yet, it's expensive here, almost at the price of petrol for same Km range.

400km so the battery must have been depleted for most of that.
If you could have a look with battery depleted I would appreciate it as I hopefully will be ordering this week.
Thanks

It's more complex because you can press a button to maintain the current charging status. Which keeps it there plus increasing it to some extent with regenerative braking etc. Today I will run on a trip with EV mode only and come back. I start at 80%.

There are techniques like keep EV in city and lower speeds, put hybrid in motorways since ice engine performs better in higher speeds, press the button to maintain charge to save it for another part of the trip etc. It is more complex mechanics and driving and plan ahead since you want to take advantage of the battery's capacity (which is huge for EVs).

Try some nice resources on the web like:

And this which is mine, it aggregates web resources:

Ping me for today's feedback. I also intend to go on a long trip tomorrow which means I will charge to 100% slowly at home overnight.

I maintain 20-80% as much as possible, I will only charge to 100% when I know that a long trip will take place (which is tomorrow!).

You can maintain charge level if you are proactive driver, press a button in the infotainment system.

I usually keep mine charged to 80% but occasionally take it to 100% if I'm going on a long journey.

So after ..popular demand, I depleted the battery today from 80% to 1%. I didn't notice tbh, otherwise I wouldn't have left it to drop that much, I will try not to do it ever again.

Long story short, a trip consisted of 2 legs in both directions, with 15 km of motorway and 60 km of b-road plus city streets. EV for most of the time, it covered about 100km with electric only. Super quiet. Charging now, hopefully w very long trip awaits for me tomorrow, charging to 100%, needs 9hrs.
