Hello! I am Gabrijel from Croatia and this is my 2013 2.0 TDI 184 hp alor blue Leon. When I was buying a car I was looking for these three conditions: 184hp, seatsound and alcantara seats. Luckily I bought this one that has all mentioned plus this gorgeous color. Also it came dropped on Eibach sportline springs which is a bonus.
This is how it looked like when I bought it in March 2023.
First modifications began immediately with VCDS coding. I did the classics like needle sweep, carbon FIS and red interior lighting on all modes. Also did the US style lights in sport mode, disabled the headlights washers and did the 5x comfort indicators.
Next mods were boot and glovebox light which I changed to LED ones.
In May 2023 I changed the end bit on the key to chrome one.
In August 2023 I did the second reverse light. These cars have one reverse light and one foglight as standard. I decided to modify the foglight part so it can shine white light. I destroyed the red reflector part and removed it from the housing.
Then I coded in VCDS the following: when you engage reverse gear, rear foglight turns on. That way when I engage the reverse gear both lights turn on. This way I got two reverse light which I like because of simmetry.
In November 2023 i got my headlights polished.
Also in November 2023 I put magnets inside the bumper for easy licence plate removal (only for taking pictures, I don't drive like that like some people).
At the same time I did the wide mouth but only the top part, I don't like the lower part in black. Foglight housings done in dark black and headlights in light black. Two years later I had to remove tint from headlights because of MOT but I am working on a solution for that
Rear lights got light tint but I removed that also because of MOT. Now i have done something better IMO for the rears and you shall see that later in this post.
We did the rear S badge in matte gray and LEON badging in black.
In December 2023 I bought the Audi 12v socket cover. Little OEM+ touch.
In April 2024 I bought the aluminium pedals from Aliexpress for 50 eurocents with some coupons. Amazing deal and a bit of luck
In June 2024 I bought dynamic indicators for mirrors.
August 2024 got me FR door latch covers.
Sometime in the winter of 2024 I made this "display" of my Wunderbaum/Little trees collection. If anyone wants to donate PM me
After winter, corrosion showed up on front arches which many of you know is a common problem. So in March 2025 I got rid of the rust.
My wife has a 2015 Polo 6R. It's not R-line nor any high spec so it baffled me that it had foot lighting, spray windshield washers and sunglasses holder in glovebox and my FR doesn't have those.
So as a good husband I stole sunglasses holder for my Leon Nice OEM+ touch.
I could not stand the standard windshield washers after seeing my wife ones in action so I ordered one pair for myself.
June 2025 I got FR performance wheels which IMO are the best looking wheels on MQB platform and beyond. Only cupra formentor 19" wheels are prettier and it is something I consider for the future.
One simple "mod" that I like is my umbrella holder. Just some 2 cheap plastic clips that I found on Aliexpress but I had to modify them a bit.
In July 2025 I redid tints on my rear lights. I failed the MOT two years prior so now I did not fully tinted them. I only did the outer edge in dark black and white parts (reverse and turn signal) in light black. I like this more than fully tinted.
Since I cannot post more than 25 pics in one post. I will continue right away with big updates
