Battery ran flat in car and when I replaced it my car won't even crank anymore, any help would be greatly appreciated Ty.

Bad ground connection? Follow the negative lead back to where it bolts to the body, is it clean and rust free?

Bad starter?

Heard from the mechanic today and according to him it's bad news, been running tests all day and can't find the issue 😔Gutted tbh!
Hard to see how it can be that difficult for a garage, You either have power getting to the starter motor when you crank it, or you dont.

If you have power there, then it must be the starter, if you don't have power there, then you have a wiring/relay/ignition switch issue.

Mechanics told me my ECU has gone, anyone know if it's worth replacing it or not and how much that would cost?

Not sure how a dodgy ECU would stop it cranking, should crank but not start. As R3k1355 said, i'd take it somewhere else
