After almost 2 weeks i have noticed more issues after the update. The travel assist function is not working as before and lanes view has been changed, the transition between electric and petrol goes back to before update, sometimes when starting the car the EV is disabled even if there is energy in the battery and also the brake issues. From what i have searched it seems that dealer did not do the update the right way so now heading back to the dealer and leave the care there until they will fully make thos car drivable.

Just installed an OTA update. No idea what it does?
Car: 2023 Cupra Leon Hybrid

The car is on lease so doesn't get to see a main dealer unless it's in for warranty work, so am I missing some sort of update that only a dealer can do?

The PV4-RC software update suite mentioned in this thread isn't applicable to your vehicle.

You appear to have installed the latest infotainment system software though.

Oh, I assumed being the Leon thread, the PV4-RC update would be applicable to my Leon (should I get to a dealer for them to apply it)? I know that's not what I got from the OTA update but just posted here for general system update info.

The software update suites were not introduced to vehicle models until mid 2024 to comply with the new UNECE regulations, your vehicle was built before then so it's a pre-UNECE model, so unfortunately, the PV4-RC does not apply to your model year.

Coming back a few days after the update, it seems that not much has been fixed, still getting the travel assist errors, impared sensors.Brake pedal feels sometimes stiffer(hard) sometimes softer. Gearbox felt more responsive imediatly after update but now it look like before update. Just curious to know what you feel after update.

I'm catching up on this thread and have a thought on you observations about the gearbox; that I've put in bold above.

Might it be that the 'Update' put the DSG change profile back to the default factory settings and now, after a few miles (usually 250 or so) the gearbox has relearnt your driving style which you are used to?

Ah, I see, thanks. I just assumed this was one of those regular updates that all models get.

As an aside, the OTA update I installed wiped my profile and reset all internal settings, radio stations, seat position, eManager, clock, dash layout, reverse mirror dip etc etc. Then had to login to my Cupra Connect profile again, in doing so, forgot my PIN which has locked me out for 24 hours! Phone companies seem to do software updates so much better.
