I have an issue with my car, a Cupra Leon 310 4drive. When going full throttle first the ACC flips out and if continuing it gives an engine light. The ACC issue resets itself after a restart but not the engine light. While accelerating it has a whooshing noise also. Pulled the codes and got a P0299. My google fu indicates a faulty diverter valve. But I can not really understand what version is needed. When searching I find 06H145710D but it does not seem to be compatible? Only older cars are listed for that one. Could anyone point me in the correct direction for a compatible diverter valve or if they think my diagnose is wrong please tell :)

You say you hear a whooshing noise when accelerating.

That means there is a leak somewhere in the turbo cooling circuit.

Check all connections of all turbo hoses in the engine compartment.

It is possible there's a turbo hose is torn or broken or that a connection is not seated properly through which it is blowing air.

The error code P0299 indicates that it is not reaching turbo pressure and you hear air blowing; that is the reason it has this error code and why your engine management light comes on.

So first check the intercooler circuit.

If you can't find the leak, go to a garage that has a smoke machine to inspect the intercooler circuit.

It sounds very much like in this clip of an old Golf.
The sound increases as the boost builds, low boost and low revs hardly no sound.
