VZ3 Hailstorm 19 inch wheels

These are the wheels fitted to clear the big brakes on the vz3.
As we know their size is 19x8,5x112,ET 43.
I am trying to source some aftermarket “winter wheels” but this is not as simple as following the above sizing because there is the further factor of the spoke design being suitable to give clearance for the front brakes.
I’ve already had a set which I had to send back,so any guidance would be appreciated.

I've got some Team Dynamics Pro Race LT 19" 5x112 8.5J ET 35 on my Ateca VZ3 with Brembo big brakes.

They give excellent clearance to disc and callipers and replace OE Copper 19" 5x112 8J ET45 .

Bought them, with tyres, from Rimstyle who have an excellent configurator, and 0% finance available.

Thanks for that.
I’ll have a talk with Rimstyle and possibly some of the other wheels shops.
If I take their advice it’s obviously better than guesswork.

Spoke clearance is huge. You need to place the 'weights' (sorry, dont know the english term) carefully, so they dont touch the brakes.

Welcome! It cost me a kidney to try so many wheels on my brakes to find one. Even most 19" wheels were no-go because of the spokes. We were shocked that this 18" worked beautifully. I am not saying it is "airy" at the barrel, but the wheel weights will fit nicely, without touching the brakes.

18" will be a lot better during Budapest (Hungary) winters - we often have human-head sized potholes here...

Your alloys look good. The spokes look to be slightly convex in shape and with alloys that have convex shaped spokes, the risk of the spokes not clearing the brake callipers is reduced or eliminated.

On my last car (a VW), I bought a set of 18” RC Design RC32 alloys in a ferric iron colour (picture below). Like your Sparco alloys, the RC32’s also had convex shaped spokes and there was loads of clearance space between the back of the spokes and the brake callipers. There was also plenty of clearance between the wheel barrel and the brake callipers for the wheel balance weights to fit.
