It looks like the Raval has become a victim of its own popularity with orders coming in at twice the volume expected. This has caused shortages of components, and there have also been delays due to necessary software updates

I pre-ordered my Launch Edition at the end of May. My dealer contacted me on 10 August to say the car was status 30 - waiting to leave the factory, so possible delivery around mid-September. Last week they called me to say it probably won't be delivered until October, maybe November. They did try to get me to consider a VZ Extreme (at higher cost) but I'm OK with waiting for the car I ordered.

Having checked online I am seeing multiple reports of similar delays, possibly into December, so I guess we need to re-set our expectations. If you have an order already, you may want to check with your dealer.

It does appear that Cupra are extending their "early-order" offers on free paint upgrades to match the delays.

It is not just a Cupra issue European cars are being given build priority as our market is very volatile - EVs still being a harder sell mainly affordability and resdula values but also ZEV mandate.

European orders have been double what was expected. I have just had the same with an Abarth was Sept now Dec as Stellantis deprotises UK orders. So cancelled and got a in stock Raval V1. I take delivery within the next two weeks.
