Skoda Peaq Review ... suspect this is the sister car of the Cupra Batmobile

The Skodas EV answer of the Kodiaq which is the sister of the Tarraco. The Kodiaq got refreshed, the Seat Tarraco didn't.

Have to check whether the Cupra Batmobile will come as a 7 seater. The Peaq you can get configured as a 5 or 7 seater.

Note the flicker that is reported across all Skodas on that infotainment build.

The Tindaya will be based on the SSP platform yet to be seen so thats another step ahead yet to get launched.

Sorry for going off topic here but I saw Autogefühl on the still shot of the video above and I had to share my rather strange experience with the channel. I followed it for a long time, mostly loved his reviews. The guy speaks English very fluently, but there's something irritating in his literal translations from German and his insistence on using wrong words even after he was informed. He inserts "then" in between every five words, like they do in German with the word "denn" as a filler word, probably thinking that's OK in English too. He keeps saying "structure" instead of "texture", he invents words like "entry badge" for scuff plates. I know these are not important, but if you are an obsessive person like me, you can't focus on the subject once you notice the pattern, and I just had to stop following him

Perhaps he's AI generated . Has more style than the electrifying review person perhaps.

What I liked in the first review is the front legroom, the codriver has their legs right out. My moan about the Ateca coming from the Altea was that as a passenger you could stretch your legs out. Handy on long journeys across Europe. I think with increased safety between the Altea and Ateca the crumple zone has increased in the Ateca to protect your feet in an accident (less front space).

You now need a bigger car or rather I did to still get the passenger leg room. The Kodiak / Tarraco / All Space gives you that over the Ateca / Karoq / Tiguan. Mind you I got use to not putting my legs out. It doesn't bother drivers thou only front passengers. Still a longer car to drive around for front passenger comfort. 5 seater would do fine in that style . But I'm sticking with the Ateca.
