Hi All, Have had the V1 Raval for a month now and all was going great up until this morning when the dash lit up with warnings and car won’t move.
Just called Cupra assistance and technician on their way this afternoon so will see if they can fix it or take it away to dealership.
Was originally running 6.0 and had one warning about 2 weeks ago stating Engine fault, go to dealer. This went away after a couple of restarts and dealer told me to ignore it and keep an eye on it.
updated to 6.0.1 over the air a week ago and all was good until today.
Will update what happens next.

I have a video of this but can’t see how to upload it, might be of interest to others.

Just curious, have you enabled the option Low Voltage Battery Protection in the app that keeps 12V battery charged up by the bigger battery if voltage drops, just curious if it might help avoid this issue. I know 12V battery can be very sensitive to giving all kinds of faults, had lots of those cases with my 12V battery in my Mazda 3 when only driving constantly very short distances, have to keep it charged with a maintenance charger overnight roughly once a month to avoid errors. I know with my driving habits I better keep the low voltage battery protection enabled on the Cupra at least, especially with how much interior stuff there is in the Cupra Raval that I assume is connected with the 12V battery it might drop fairly quick if you frequently do short trips only.

Precisely my thought. I have the 12V battery protection enabled since July, but not sure how efficient it is at keeping it charged. I do a lot of short journeys, like 90% of my usage.
So yes, I suspect my ADAS alerts are due to a low voltage of the small battery. I might use my trickle charger indeed to check if that takes care of the problem.

Thats interesting, it is not enabled.
Is there any reason not to enable it or why it wouldn’t be by default?
Thanks for your advice.

Well the only negative aspect it drains the bigger battery a bit faster even if sitting idle you might end up charging the car a bit more frequently. But seems like a common consencus among Cupra communities that this option would be best to default to "on" rather than "off". Especially in the case of Raval which is their smallest / most city focused of all cars that typically also means more frequent cases of "short trips only" use cases, if you frequently drive longer trips then it doesn't matter if it's enabled or not.

Ok, really not worried about using a bit of battery as the car is charged at home most days.
Am I correct in thinking there must be some sort of alternator connected to the drivetrain that usually charges the 12v battery.
Seems an odd way to keep the 12v topped up.

Can't speak for how it's done in practice as I'm no expert there but I know most EVs do charge up the 12V with help of the bigger battery, with some exceptions here and there some earlier models didn't like the very old Nissan Leaf to mention one example. It varies though if it's done only meanwhile driving or also when shut down, this setting in the app makes so it also happens while it's turned off. If you only do frequent short trips only, charging while driving won't be cutting it in the longer run. The voltage will slowly drop which also used to happen to my Mazda 3's 12V battery (and more noticeable consequences during winter, had it happen twice that the car would no longer even start, I've once replaced the battery, this other time I let them charge it at a dealer with a more powerful charger as the maintenance charger didn't have strong enough power to really get it out of the low voltage state no matter how long it sat charging)
