Model Year 24/25 No Charging schedule

My Cupra Formentor is missing the ability to select charging times, use granny charger don’t do enough miles to buy wall charger. Have spoken to dealers and Cupra who have confirmed this update will be q3 which is July to September and should be OTA. Bit of a nuisance trying to get cheap electric off peak when I have no way of setting schedule, the older formentor models have this ability. Understand VW also have the same issues and are awaiting an update. Anyone found a way around this with granny charger until update arrives thanks.

I have a 2025 Formentor hybrid which was delivered about 7 weeks ago (loving it) and same as you just charging it from a 3 pin socket. I successfully set up a charging schedule in the car which then showed in the app so I could modify it. Now I plug it in at some point in the evening and it waits till 1am to start charging and stops at 6am. Not sure why you're having issues??

In terms of the 3 pin charging in replaced the existing socket with a bs1363/ev socket designed for charging ev's. Doesn't get hot at all and no harder to fit than a normal socket.

Hi cupra 985 on my screen for charging I am missing a line which included schedule. I only have batt manager charging e info and settings nothing for setting time or schedule. How do you do it or have you’re car got different software thanks

I now know why I’m still on the wrong software I’m on 2460 and awaiting the software update in Q3 July -September to allow charging

@Deeno59 I also have the same problem 2024 VZ1 eHybrid. No option for scheduled charging. The manual refers to it as Departure time settings I think.

Did you get yours resolved?

Im working on it with cupra coventry hope to have a TPI number soon so can give to local dealer to download relevant software, will update you soon as i know

Totally agree have even thought about getting rid due to hassle charging at cheap rate im lucky due ti doing little mileage, if you hear anything before me post it here if you dont mind and i will do the same thanks

Good question but no, because there is no charging schedule as soon as you plug in the car needs power if not it keeps searching for it, trips charging light to red and flattens 12 v battery. I know because i have tried it lol, even tried plugging in start charging switch off on phone app , but 3 hours later wont initiate start and again flattens 12 v battery.

Is there a TPI for this update spoke with dealer friday and nothing under my vin. Can you give more info on this update please desperately need to resolve this charging issue thanks
