Formentor front suspension (DCC) noise or clunks over speed bumps identified

Hi...my Formentor also has q ratteling noise right front on oneven road also when full lock steering and then drive away the same noise...it appears to be the dust cover on the shocks that have to be mounted on a specific way and that seems to be an issue that is from the original mounting in the factory.
Dust covers cost €20 a piece.

Where did you get that TPI? Did they install the new dust covers on your car? And did the knocking stop after installing the new covers?
Yes...the sound is gone.
A helpfull mechanic from the Dealer send me this after he had a customer with the same issues.
Did you replace the dust covers for a fee? Or under warranty?
Could you send me the part number of the covers they installed or other documents confirming the replacement? I'm still dealing with my service center.
It was 30 minutes per side..tire of..shocks lose etc.
It cost me €20 per side and then €40 labour costs. I will look for the parts number and i'll get back to you.

I had the same issue as this with my G42 m240i and it only had 2k miles on it , the problem is the Monroe shocks but bmw wouldn't recognise it (typical) even though it was only a year old I bought a set of replacement Bilstein ones and had my mate fit them and it was quite as a mouse after , about 6 months later Bmw started changing the top mount from a different model (M340i) and owners reported that it sorted the bobbling suspension noise , even my new 1500 mile Cupra Leon does it a bit , golf R and clubsports have the same issues, Cupra will just bat it away as a characteristic of the car , only way is to find a replacement top mount that is compatible or change to Bilstein.
Sorry I see that , the only possible replacements could be these but not a 100% , I found it really frustrating with my bmw and it was a well known issue to everyone apart from the dealership lol , they didn't have an answer when I went in with the replacement Bilstein and had no noise.....

I was thinking for people with it......if disconnecting the sensor works......then if you left the ignition or engine running and choose individual setting and disconnected while in that profile and cable tied it up then the shock should be set to that everytime you drive the car......? It would throw a warning light but that's it....
Popped into Cupra to get them to check the front suspension bobble noise on mine and they could definitely hear it and will see what Cupra come back with.... they said there is a TPI out for replacement of the front top mounts but not the shocks......let's see how it plays out , its an easy fix but I'd rather they done it instead of me having to buy 2 replacement front shocks at just over £400 for the pair when its almost new and under warranty but that old Characteristic of the car keeps coming to mind lol.

Mine is coming to the end of its warranty in June and the Seat garages have been useless, so it would be good to return the vehicle for another inspection with a possible solution.

I think on other posts disconnecting the two front dcc definately works as I previously posted disconnected on my wife's car and silent as drives ok so left disconnected haven't reported to the dealer, car is under warranty but have lowered suspension so that will give them a typical reason to decline, went in for its first service just reconnected beforehand and yep the knocking came back! Disconnected again and nice and quiet. It's definately a problem with the shocks!!
Yep definitely the shocks as i had it on my previous G42 and now the Cupra and what's the chances of that ........although i also think having the shock and top mount both replaced is the perfect fix .......like I said there is a tpi for the top mount but not the shocks......last thing Cupra want to admit to are faulty Monroe shocks being fitted at Factory , if they only do the top mounts I might grab 2 shocks myself and see if they will put them in while out but let's see , will let you know what happens .
