Just bought a 2007 Toledo which has a central locking issue....in that it locks fine using the fob and the switch on centre console under the arm rest....however it won't unlock using the fob or switch unless you rapidly press the fob button then the passenger door may open but not everytime. To open I usually have to use the key into the driver door and open each door from the inside. The rear boot does not always unlock either, again rapid pressing of the unlock will sometimes do it.
I'm assuming it's something simple but don't know where to start though I did take off the drivers door panel but couldn't figure how to undo the 2 cables from the door handle to the locking module.
Any pointers would be appreciated.

For reference I'm reasonably competent in electrics and mechanics so not afraid to have a go......

Cheers

Hi, and welcome to the site. If you have a search over in our Toledo forum and post there if you don't find a previous post about it, I'm sure someone will be able to help. We have lots of knowledgeable people here, including @James_R

Hope you get it sorted.

Cheers
